Ronald Reagan was a great story teller and jokester. Here’s a good sample.
One of my favorites begins at about 4:53 where he tells the story of a Russian commissar who went to a collective farm to check on the crops.
It’s worth a listen if you having a bit of a slow afternoon. Or even if you’re not.

I am teaching 7th grade history right now, covering U. S. history from 1860-1941. my student's learn and retain a variety of things, but there is one thing every one of my students leaves my classroom with committed to memory. I am sure I quote Reagan from his first inaugural at least 500 times each year, "Government is not the solution to the problem; government is the problem."
